Bengals unveil, unleash 2009 training camp schedule at Georgetown (Ky.) College

The 2009 NFL season marks the Cincinnati Bengals’ 13th summer at Georgetown (Ky.) College.

Wilmington College served as the Bengals training camp for 29 years (1968-1996).

The Bengals then moved to central Kentucky in 1997. It was tailback Corey Dillon’s rookie season, and quarterback Boomer Esiason’s final year in the NFL.

Hard to believe, but it’s true … the Bengals are 42 years old.

Fasten your seat belts, folks, for what could be, and should be, the club’s second playoff season in 19 lost, lonely years.

Playoffs? You have GOT to be kidding me. Better than last year? I truly hope so, for the city’s sake. There is no way this team makes a run-B-more and the Stealers are too good.

They will be much better, than last year and yes they will fight with Baltimore, and Pitsburgh.

I agree with Chick. If the Bengals stay healthy they should contend for the playoffs.
