Lakota just released this announcement:
In order to schedule transportation for Lakota students in grades 10, 11 and 12, a form must be completed by August 26 to have bus transportation on the first day of school. One form should be filled out per student.
The form is available on Lakota’s website (www.lakotaonline.com http://www.lakotaonline.com/ ). Select “Transportation” and then “High School Transportation”. The form is also available at each of the high school campuses.

Board notes
Some of the items from the board meeting were routine, but here are some of interest:
The Shawnee Early Childhood parking lot is going to be expanded after many parent complaints. The project is expected to cost about $200,000 for the first phase.
Liberty Junior lockers will be installed for $104,500.
Lakota East choir is planning a trip to Disney World for the 2009 Magic Music Days. The trip will be paid through fundraising efforts.
