Lebanese food right here in Dayton
Brother Ron here: Had the chance to slip over for a lunch last week at CedarLand Bakery & Restaurant, 4515 Linden Ave., and was glad I did.
What is it that goes into Tabouli Salad that makes it so amazing? Sure, you can take parsley, tomato, onion, cracked wheat, lemon juice and olive oil and throw ‘em together and call it something… but whatever that special extra something is that makes it that perfect concoction called Tabouli, they’ve got it figured out at CedarLand.
Great Hummus, too. My dining companion has Lebanese roots and said the hummus at CedarLand, where he eats often, is better than his grandmother used to make. I suggested he might not want to mention that to his grandmother, though they were happy to hear about it at the restaurant.
We had the Kafta sandwich, which has spiced beef, parsley and onion on pita bread. Delicious.
Don’t forget some stuffed grape leaves while you’re there… They’re excellent, too.
CedarLand is one of those places that feels like a true family kitchen, in ambiance, service and most of all, in the food. It’s great stuff.
Can’t wait to get back and try some more of their delicacies.

Not one to go for the “healthy food” route I tried Aladdins Eatery after many people told me it was so delicious. It is TRUE! The menu is so extensive I couldn’t believe how many choices. I tried the baba and was ready to push away but I couldn’t get enough. I can’t wait to go back again and try even more!By Monty Python

The New Aladdin’s Eatery Restaurant at West Chester’s Union centre exit is perfect! The food is delightful and unique. It is a new taste that was needed in this area. I have eaten here at least 8 times and find my taste desiring it…almost daily! Servers are kind, it’s clean and portions large and reasonable! You have got to try it!By Donna

Look no further! We have are fortunate to have a great Lebanese restaurant just open this month. Aladdin’s Eatery, 9344 Union Center Blvd, West Chester, OH 45069, tel: (513) 874-1302. Owners Patty & Paul Sabino are meticulous of the quality of food. The place is clean, healthy food, good service, and the price is right! I ate there about half a dozen times already. My family love the “Baba” appetizer - pureed eggplant, tahini, garlicky with a twist of lemon. Try dip the pita pitza in their hot sauce. So good!
