John Boehner has some stuff he wants to talk to you about

House Minority Leader John Boehner has been a multimedia machine lately. He was one of the first members whose staff got him on “Twitter,” the one-line blogging platform. Lately, he’s been releasing videos.

Here’s one where he’s asking for constituent input:

And here’s Boehner weighing in on the “Employee Free Choice Act,” introduced in the House this week:

And now the piece of garbage and former hate monger, Dick Cheney is spouting off his fear mongering. Once again, Darth Vader has stepped off the Dark Star. Seems that the GOP will continue its downward spiral. Fun to watch!

The sages of Proverbs once said “As coals are to hot embers, and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to inflame strife”. Sava - you know darn well Patty has correctly stated that alternatives have been presented. It was Nancy Pelosi that said “we won” and then wrote her own stimulus package. I believe it was that as well as you wanting those who disagree with the currect direction to roll over and play dead is the one party rule Ethel was pointing out. The factual points I raised are the legitimate concerns of many Americans. There not saying anyone is bad or good - they are what they are - facts. President Obama remains personally popular (I’ve said before I like the guy) but many have doubt about what has been done and what he intends to do. Demogogary, inuendos that someone doesn’t love the country because they have concerns for what is happening really don’t add to the conversation - it only does what the sages told us all those years ago. We are grateful that you ended your last post with a bit of humor (Pelosi being intelligent that is).

“There are some people who want one party rule like you find in the Soviet Union. Lies become truth and the propogandais effectively used.”(Ethel) Gee, Ethel, I thought you liked Boehner and the Republcians. Guess I had you wrong. I just never thought you would describe the Republican Party so clearly. I guess my help for you has taken effect. Do you know this Patty person? She keeps denying she’s a Republican, but keeps spouting a whole snout full of Republican nonsense. She seems to have something going for Speaker Pelosi. I guess it is some jealousy thing. You know, Pelosi being intelligent and doing good work for the country and then you have Patty who doesn’t care about the country and outof shame, refuses to admit that she is a closet Republican. Sad case. Keep up the good work, Ethel.

There are some people who want one party rule like you find in the Soviet Union. Lies become truth and the propogandais effectively used. Since we are soon to get the big tax bill for all the out of control spending this Congress and its President signed into law, it is time we get another “speech” from the Wordonator that all that BIG SPENDING is a good thing and GWB “made him do it.”

Savanation all you do is quote the party lines without checking the facts. Like your party keeps saying the ask the republicans for input and the republicans do not give any input - democrat lie. Republicans are giving input, but the democrats ignore and say they are not. Savanation you say Boehner only wants to give tax cuts to the wealthy - LIE. Republicans suggested cutting the taxes in half for the lowest levels of taxpayers. That would give me more money in my pocket. The democrats said NO and then turned around and said the republicans offered no ideas. That is the same lie you keep spreading. Cutting my taxes in half would have given me more money in my paycheck and that would have help me spend. But no the democrats are letting me keep a lousy $13/week. While the $30 million dollars is going to California for Pelosi’s little marsh mouse. I’m sure you will miss and ignore the facts I have stated here. I have also told you over and over I am not a republican yet there you go again.

Patty, you are pretty loose with the lie bit and the commie bit. I want you to exactly tell me what I have ever said that is a lie. Patty, you are so warped that sense means nothing to you. I give you answers, and you call them lies. I give you facts and you call them lies. Patty, you are a prime example of someone who has never, ever had an orginal thought in your life. You prove this everytime you spout the party line, direct from the Limbaugh factory. Patty, of course Republicans have ideas and have spoken them. But they are the same crap which got us into this mess. They have to be rejected. The future of our country depends on it. Not that you would care. Repblicans and Democrats are equal in responsibility for this crisis??? I will make a very large bet with you, Patty, that 99% of all the Banking executives and brokers and traders and morage brokers who have spent the pass many years making obscene amounts of money by duping the system, voted Republican every time they had a chance. Would you take that bet? Why did they vote Republican. Because they knew that it meant money for them. They were not patriotic or loved nonsensical wars. They knew that if Republicans won then there would be no regulation and oversight on what they were doing. John Boehner is the best example of that problem. There would be no one watching the store except the thieves inside the store. They knew that with Republicans in charge they could get away with anything. AND THEY DID! That is why we are in this mess. I am sure Democrats did some wrong things. BUT 95% if this mess was caused by those who vote Republican, acting just like Republicans, looking out for themselves with not a care for anyone else.. PERIOD.

There is Savanation twisting and spreadding his lies again. All of you can read and think for yourselves. TRS did not “spouts the same old “Dem’s Bad, Union’s Bad, Not the Republican’s Fault”, boilerplate.” TRS said there is plenty of blame to go around. You REFUSE to acknowledge and twisted and lied again! Then you again show that you only listen to one sided lies by quoting Thomas Freidman’s. The continue lie that the Republicans are just playing politics and being the party of NO is just that a LIE! It amazes me how well they keep the lie as though they believe it. Watch and Listen to C-SPAN. I have heard the republicans offer ideas only to have the democrats say they offer no idea. John Boehner has many times offered ideas and yet Savanation you still say he offers nothing and just says NO. Or you lie and say he only offers for the wealthy - which again is a lie - cause their suggestions had nothing to do with the wealthy. Democrats and Republicans are both to blame for our current mess. The republicans have acknowledged their fault in this and are trying to move forward. Now Savanation you and your communist buddies need to accept your fault in this and move forward.

As usual, TRS spouts the same old “Dem’s Bad, Union’s Bad, Not the Republican’s Fault”, boilerplate. TRS, we are way past that crap. This is serious. And serious people have to do what has to be done. Have you seen anything serious come out of the Republican Party? Other than chewing on eachother’s asses and ignoring the chance to actually help our nation and our President, just what have your leader’s done recently? Let’s me quote a little from Thomas Freidman’s editorial of 3/12: “Friends, this is not a test. Economically, this is the BIG ONE. This is August 1914. This is the morning after Pearl Harbor. This is 9/12. Yet, in too many ways, we seem to be playing politics as usual. Our country has congestive heart failure. Our heart, our banking system that pumps blood to our industrial muscles, is clogged and functioning far below capacity. Nothing else remotely compares in importance to the urgent need to heal our banks. …(at this terrible time)The GOP is actually debating whether it wants our president to fail. Rather than help the president make the hard calls, the GOP has opted for cat calls. It would be as if on the morning after 9/11, Democrats said that they wanted no part of any war against al-Qaida - ‘George Bush, you’re on your own’”.(Thomas Friedman 3/12) TRS, if you and Mr. Boehner love America, and it’s very hard to see that you do, stop the obstructionism, stop the petty politics, stop the planning for 2012, stop the “politics as usual”, get your heads out of your butts and help President Obama save our country. If you don’t, there is a good chance nobody will want to be president in 2012. Well, maybe Rush or Sarah. Mr. Friedman is absolutely correct. You people(Boehner et al) either just don’t care or are too dumb to realize that this is a serious time for serious people. And John Boehner is not even close to being a serious people. And, by the way, TRS, blaming unions for wanting to have a living wage while ignoring the quest for massive profits which the companies saw in building massive SUV’s, which were more profitable than energy efficient cars, is both dumb and irresponsible. It seems you and Crying John have a lot in common.

Perhaps you should read up on the regulatory issue Sava. There is plenty of blame to go around. In particular Barney Frank, Chuckie Schumer and Andrew Cuomo and Bill Clinton on your side of the fence so you can’t pin this whole mess on Republicans. It wasn’t a party breakdown - it was a government breakdown fueled by both parties. It took a meltdown to shake them both up. Sadly, we now have this pontificating bafoon Frank trying to look good by advocating going after some of the crooks who passed out the huge bonus monies. The idea is good, but if they are going to put them in jail, Frank should be there with them. For the better part of a quarter century (since Reagan), this country has had great prosperity. Clinton basically carried on what Reagan had started so please, spare me this 30 year stuff. That being said, the issue to most is the indiscriminate manner in which this spending is taking place. We started with a 787B spending bill of which about 45% was actual stimulus. Then the 400B+ signed today actually added more money to programs funded by the original spending bill. Big chunks of the funding are not thought out; rather, the Dems are simply throwing massive sums in vague manner to various places and telling them to spend their little hearts out. Now, Democrats talking a 2nd stimulus bill. As far as card check, in the midst of a depression, the Dems want to make it more difficult for companies to do business and they want to do so by effectively ruling out a sacred right - the private vote. If unions want to gain more members, they need to become value added. Most workers simply didn’t see them as that and based on what they did to the manufacturing sector (specifically the auto industry).

Sounds like old Crying John has been talking to the same goofballs he usually talks to so that he can hear the same crap he wants to hear. I wonder if all those “constituents” he ran into were all sitting at the same bar at the club in the gated communtiy where he lives? Well, Mr. Boehner, this constituent will be happy to tell you how I feel about the stimulous package. I feel that if you and your clown brothers in crime hadn’t screwed up the entire American finanical market over the past three decades with your NO REGULATION, Let them do whatever they think is best for the wealthy, screw the middle class, Republican policy of greed to the max, then we wouldn’t have to have a stimulous package, But since we do, GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THAT BAR AND HELP, OR AT LEAST STAY OUT OF THE WAY of the people who have to clean up after you. I hope that was perfectly clear. We know what you are doing in Washington. NOT A DAMN THING THAT HELPS AMERICA.

Well, since the republicans really have no leadership, no plan for the future and the republicans have proved that they cannot be trusted, they have Boehner dishing out the same trash as usual. Primarily gop conservative talking points with no substance. Just more of the same. The republican party is a joke. You have a radio entertainer, Limbaugh, the recovering drug addict, who tries to claim leadership of the party and a bunch of members of congress that are intimidated by his rhetoric. Then, there are republican members of congress who care more about their lobbyists and less about their constituents. The republicans lost because they could not go against the Bush/Cheney/neocon lies. Also, the republicans, as a whole, lost their base and their way. Don’t blame the dems! What Boehner and other republicans must do is take ownership of their failures and owe up to them. They failed our country and our citizens kicked them out.
