I think everyone knows that we (Americans hushands) are the best in the world. We strive to be the best fathers also. The American culture for all of its fault is the best in the world in the sense that we strive for equaluity. Even when failed we know we are failures and that God will judge us harshly. Unlike many countries we know when we do wrong (adultery, abuse, gambling) and we acknowledge it in our hearts to do better. American women are very licky and best to be in the United States of AmericKa (yes the K is on purpose)!!!!!

I am very proud to admit to everyone that my husband is actually the leader of housecleaning and cooking in my house. HE IS GREAT!!! BTW… we have been married 20 years, so it is not a newlywed thing!

This is a nice article for husbands, but doesn’t tell the whole story. My guess is that American wives work more outside the home and earn a higher % of the household income than women in these other countries. I believe the American workforce is made up of 62% female. Why is it that men need an “attaboy” when they help with the chores but women get nothing for working outside the home and managing the household? It’s just expected.

My husband is wonderful. I am 35 weeks pregnant and have recently developed some complications. he has stepped up through out the whole pregnancy, but even more so now. We both work full time and he has been taking care of the chores and me. Husbands can be supportive.

Lea, It’s all about choices. I want the choice to work if I want. If you don’t, then stay home. Grandma did it and if you live like she did you could afford it too. No computer, no internet, no cell phone, no cable TV, no expensive convenience foods, plant a garden and can your own food, take in laundry to earn money, babysit the neighbor’s kids, make your own clothes, it goes on and on. If you don’t want that standard of living then suck it up and go to work! Stop whining. Geez.
