Window shoppers are in for a treat this weekend. "Try It On for the Cure" is a fundraising program in which Coldwater Creek will donate $1 to the Greater Cincinnati affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for every shopper who tries on clothes in the fitting room. No purchase is necessary, however, the company will donate 10 percent of event sales to Komen.
The program will take place Sunday at Coldwater Creek's 5585 Deerfield Blvd. store in Deerfield Towne Center. For more information, call (513) 770-0140.
Kings Island reopens for season of fun
Kings Island will reopen for the season with limited operations and hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 20, and April 26 and 27. New this season will be the Racer's return to riding forward on both tracks as well as new names for some of the park's familiar attractions. Park goers can now ride Drop Tower, Flight Deck, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Invertigo, The Crypt, Thunder Alley and Ohio's only flying roller coaster, Firehawk. Tea for two

Don't be late for this very important date. Tea Roses and Acting Up will host a Mad Hatter Tea Party, complete with Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and others posing for photos and signing autographs. Enjoy a scone and tea or juice at one of two seatings at 2 and 4 p.m. at the tea parlor, 101 E. Main St.

Ghostly discussion

Karen Laven will discuss and sign copies of her book "Cincinnati Ghosts and Other Tri-State Haunts" during afternoon tea at 12:15 p.m. April 26 at Angel of the Garden Tea Room, 71 N. Main St. in Waynesville. The tea parlor is situated in the historic Charles Cornell House, built in 1901. The event includes a five-course tea. Tribute band performs classic calypso tunes
Parrotheads who didn't get tickets for Buffet's appearance at Riverbend this summer can get their cheeseburger in paradise with the Parrots of the Caribbean, appearing at 8 p.m. April 26 at the Murphy Theatre in Wilmington.
