Maineville "Doctors" arrested for practicing without license

One suspect remains at-large

Two Maineville residents have been indicted for practicing medicine without a license according to the Greater Warren County Drug Task Force.

Scott Welden and Tasnim Welden were indicted on Friday, May 9 by the Warren County Grand Jury on a combined 10 counts of practicing medicine without a certificate. The Weldens had been the focus of a joint investigation conducted by the Warren County Drug Task Force, the Pierce Township Police Department, the Union Township Police Department, the Ohio State Medical Board, and the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. According to the Warren County Drug Task Force, the Weldens had been operating out of the Skin Laser and Medical Spa office located at 87 E. U.S. 22/3 in Maineville as well as offices in Withamsville, Oh.

Scott Welden was arrested today, Friday, May 16, while Tasnim Welden remains at large.

Any patients that have had procedures performed at the Skin Laser and Medical Spa in Maineville to contact the Warren County Drug Task Force at 336-0070.
