LEBANON — Lebanon and Turtlecreek Township fire departments responded to a fire at approximately 9:40 a.m. today, May 9, at Total Maintenance Management located at 320 Harmon Avenue in Lebanon.

Responders were met with a thick plume of black smoke and orange flame billowing from the electric engine repair facility's chimney. However, the fire was contained to the smokestack.

"It looked more spectacular than it was," said Captain Krista Wyatt of the Lebanon Fire Department.

As of 10:00 a.m., smoke from the fire at the electric motor shop was gone as crews continued to move through the building to check the status of the fire.

Wyatt said no one was hurt in the fire and there was no serious damage.

"It was basically just a chimney fire." Wyatt said. "These things aren't terribly abnormal for a company like this, It's something they try to avoid, but it's a hazard of the business."
