With the approval of a two-year contract, teachers in Lebanon's schools won't have to worry about negotiations until 2010.
Schools Supt. Mark North said the contract between the Lebanon Education Association and the district was approved Tuesday night. The provisions of the contract, which goes into affect on Aug. 31, include raises for 270 teachers of 2.89 percent for 2008-2009 and 2.61 percent for 2009-2010.
