CINCINNATI — Most Cincinnati Bengals players are accepting the addition of troubled running back Larry Johnson as a move to improve the team.

The player who could be most affected doesn't have much to say, and that's the most telling reaction of all.

Starting running back Cedric Benson was guarded Wednesday when asked his thoughts about the Bengals signing the former Kansas City Chiefs star. When it was pointed out that Benson didn't seem happy with the move, he said he didn't know he was supposed to be thrilled by it.

Benson didn't practice on Wednesday because of a hip injury that could speed Johnson's progression up the depth chart.

You're lack of an depth in this article just goes to show why this area is becoming a bunch of bums and why no teams would have any future interest in this area. Sensationalistic journalism, it is much easier to simply look at another web site and just copy their information and then throw some "spin" on a story. Dayton grow up!

Hey DDN, What is the story on our 1st Round draft pick Andre Smith. He is no longer listed on the injury report on the Bengals website.

Look at it this way: Getting cut from a losing team to join a winning team is a plus. But given it is the Bengals . . despite their current record, Johnson should look at this as a valuable chance to change his ways. If you can't cut it with the Bengals, you are probably out of football. Don't screw it up Mr. Johnson!

Benson has no need to worry. Johnson is talent limited and burdened by his own elitist attitude quick to complain and unable to accept any kind of responsbility. **** Vermeil had LJ pegged early in his career when he told him to quit being a baby and 'take the diapers off!' Rather than the leader one would hope him to be, this guy is poison. Let the finger pointing in Cincinnati begin.
