Five RedHawks earn MAC soccer honors
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Five members of the Miami University women’s soccer team have been named to the All-Mid-American Conference teams on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Senior midfielder Jodi Zwingelberg and junior defender Brooke Livingston were selected to the first team, and senior forward Allison Berkey and senior goalkeeper Krista Pace were named to the second team.
Midfielder Jess Kodiak was named to the All-MAC freshman team.
MU volleyball team tops Bowling Green
OXFORD — The Miami University volleyball team extended its winning streak to four straight matches with a 17-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-19 victory over Bowling Green on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Millett Hall.
The RedHawks (15-10 overall, 10-3 in the Mid-American Conference), were led by Megan Griffin, 14 kills with a .824 hitting percentage; Michele Metzler, 12 kills; Hallie Hanks, 11 kills and Andrea Atteberry, 50 assists.
RedHawks receive field hockey honors
MUNCIE, Ind. — Miami University senior forward Mary Hull, senior midfielder Maggie Marcum and senior back Katie Brightwell have been named to the All-Mid-American Conference first team in field hockey.
Two other RedHawk players, junior midfielder Christine Brightwell and junior forward Kate Snyder, were named to the second team.
Miami won 9-1 over Missouri State in the MAC tournament quarterfinals Thursday, Nov. 5, and will play Kent State at 2:30 p.m. today in the semifinals.
