Monroe Hornet boys basketball camp

The Monroe boys varsity basketball team is hosting a basketball camp for boys in grades kindergarten through six June 29 through July 2 at Monroe High School. Sessions run from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Cost is $50. Checks should be made payable to Denny Ferguson and mailed to: 220 Yankee Road, Monroe, OH 45050. Registration forms are available in the Monroe Athletic Office and must be received by Monday, June 15.

Registration for Fairfield girls volleyball camp

Fairfield High School is hosting its annual youth volleyball camp July 28-30 for girls in grades five through nine. Campers will be under the direction of varsity coach Michael Berkemeier, his coaching staff and his varsity players.

East girls offer basketball clinics

Lakota East Thunderhawks Women’s Basketball is offering Saturday training clinics through July.

The clinic for girls entering grades one through four and will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Clinics forgirls entering grades five through seven will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Saturdays in the high school gym.

Cost is $10. The clinics will be led by East assistant varsity coaches Nikki Drew and Rich McGillis. To register, e-mail Nikki Drew at nikki.drew@lakotaonline.com.

Soccer camp open 
to boys and girls

The Paul Reedy Youth Soccer Camp, directed by Paul Reedy and Andy Schur, will be conducted for grades one through five June 15-18.

Walk-up registration will be conducted before each camp.

Youth football camp in Springboro

Students in grades three through eight can register for the 2009 Springboro Football Youth Camp.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon June 15-18 at CareFlight Field at Springboro High School.

Fall sports leagues now registering

The Lakota Sports Organization is now accepting registrations for the 2009 Fall Sports Leagues, which includes: SAY soccer for ages 5-19; NFL flag football for ages 5-17; Little League baseball for ages 5-19; and USSSA fastpitch girls softball for ages 5-14.

The Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Dayton Lacrosse Club and the US Lacrosse Southern Ohio Chapter, will host the 2009 U.S. Lacrosse U13 National Youth Festival from June 12-14 at the Lebanon Sports Complex.

Tennis camp offered at Lakota West

The West Chester Community Tennis Camp will be conducted June 15-19 and July 13-17 at Lakota West High School’s tennis courts.

The camp is for boys and girls ages 7-14. Cost is $50 for ages 7-9 and $65 for ages 10-14.

Little Miami basketball for girls

The Little Miami Youth Basketball Camp, directed by Steve Mays, is set for June 22-25 at Little Miami High School.

The camp is open to girls entering grades three through eight. It will run from 1 to 4 p.m. each day. Cost is $50.

Kids meet sports stars at workshops

Cincinnati Bengal Brad St. Louis will join other sports celebrities to host the Brad St. Louis Sportsfest in West Chester Twp.

Free football and cheer camps with professional athletes will be available to boys and girls in grades one through eight at 5 p.m. June 15 and at 9 a.m. June 23. Events will take place at Hopewell Junior School.

There also will be “Bowling with the NFL Stars” at 7 p.m. June 22 at Aaron’s Family Fun Center.
