This week, three testers, Holly Blair, Mary Ellington and Julie Raiff, tried out three scents from Mary Kay. Two of the three women were very enthusiastic about the product.
WHAT IS IT? Mary Kay Eau de Toilette Collection
WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO: An assortment of scents with a light formula good for everyday wear. Small size fits into purse; OK for travel.
HOW MUCH IT COSTS: $25 for 1.7 ounces
DID IT WORK? Yes. I wore the perfume everyday, and the scent, while light, stayed all day. The scent was Exotic Passionfruit.
WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT? I am not a fan of really strong perfume, so this was perfect for me.
WHAT DID YOU DISLIKE ABOUT IT? Nothing.
IS IT WORTH THE MONEY? It is definitely comparatively priced to other perfumes, maybe even cheaper.
WOULD YOU BUY IT? Yes.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT? Yes.
DID IT WORK? Yes. Several people stated that they ‘loved’ it. The scent was Warm Amber.
WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT? It is a good summertime scent.
WHAT DID YOU DISLIKE ABOUT IT? The initial spray seemed too strong. It was nice after it cooled down.
IS IT WORTH THE MONEY? The price is reasonable for the size.
WOULD YOU BUY IT? Yes.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT? Yes.
DID IT WORK? No. She tried the Sparkling Honeysuckle.
WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT? I love honeysuckle. It reminds me of honeysuckle bushes in my grandma’s backyard.
WHAT DID YOU DISLIKE ABOUT IT? It was too strong for me. I appreciate a little lighter fragrance.
IS IT WORTH THE MONEY? No.
WOULD YOU BUY IT? No.
