Flowers blooming at annual sale

Mason Christian Village will hold its annual flower sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 2 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 3 at the picnic shelter on the grounds, 411 Western Row Road. Follow the signs. All proceeds will benefit Village Health Care Auxiliary programs.

Train ride for tots

at LM&M Railroad

Chug, chug, chug your way to the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad for a ride on the Little Engine That Could — I Think I Can rail tour. The tour rides May 3 and 4 and May 10 and 11, departing from the depot at 127 S. Mechanic St. in Lebanon. Enjoy pictures with your favorite characters from the children's classic, including the bear and the elephant; story readings; and a hay bale maze. Tickets are $16 for the 90-minute excursion.

Missions benefit from sale

Lakeview United Church of Christ will hold a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 3 at the church, 8639 Columbia Road, Maineville. All proceeds and donations will benefit the church and its missions.

Women's health focus of conference

Speaking of Women's Health, a nationwide community event, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3 at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 5303 Bowen Drive.

The free event aims to teach, encourage and inspire women to take control of their health and to make informed decisions regarding their well-being and personal safety. It will focus on a variety of topics including healthy eating, beauty, great relationships, exercising and life balance. Also included is a copy of the group's newest book, "A Few of Our Favorite Things" and complimentary product samples.

Make a difference by making an appointment
