Grand opening held for new preschool facility at LBA
Liberty Bible Academy, a private school serving the northeast Cincinnati area, today announced the grand opening of its preschool center in Deerfield/Mason on May 21. Mrs. Holly Burkett, Preschool Director, presided over the official ribbon cutting ceremony
Liberty Bible Academy has provided a rigorous academic program to students in grades kindergarten through grade eight for over 23 years. Three years ago, the school decided to extend its program offerings to three and four year old students, with the goal of better preparing them for academic success at the primary levels and beyond. Since its initial launch in 2004, the preschool has seen steady growth in enrollment.
Nominations now being taken for business award
The Investing in People Awards are presented annually by the Workforce One Investment Board of Southwest Ohio to recognize commitment to workforce development by local employers.
Any public or private employer with 10 or more employees located in Butler, Clermont or Warren County is eligible to be nominated to receive an Investing in People Award. An employer is selected in each county annually as an award recipient.
All entries should be submitted no later than June 30, 2008 as a one page email to Mary Ann Williams at the Workforce One Investment Board office at williamsma@butlercountyohio.org or by fax to (513) 887-4322.
Please include the name of organization being nominated; the name of owner or executive level contact; a mailing address, phone, email address; a brief description of organization's commitment to workforce development which led to nomination; a brief description of organization and/or link to organization website; and the name and contact information of person making the nomination.
Recipient organizations will be recognized at an awards event on Sept. 10, sponsored by the Workforce One Investment Board of Southwest Ohio.
