Hannah Montana tickets a hot item
Thursday, December 13, 2007
Parents who have tickets to tonight's Hannah Montana concert in Cincinnati probably moved up on their child's BFF (Best Friends Forever) list.
On the other hand, parents who didn't snag the coveted tickets probably saved themselves hundreds of dollars.

Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, will take to the stage tonight at U.S. Bank Arena for her Best of Both Worlds concert. Tickets for the show have been nearly impossible to land for area parents.
Some parents, like Tammi Martin of Hamilton, tried unsuccessfully to order tickets the day they went on sale in September. Martin said since then she's lost several bidding wars on eBay, with the going price for a pair of tickets at around $500.
"I'm totally blown away that a 15-year-old can be so popular," said Martin, whose 8-year-old daughter owns Hannah Montana clothing, posters, cds, iron ons, toys, and a wig. "If she doesn't have it, she wants it."
Dana Beeson of Middletown got pre-sale access by joining the Hannah Montana fan club about a week before the tickets went on sale.
She ordered three tickets for about $200, for herself, her daughter Taylor, 9, and her friend Kiersta, 8.
With songs like "Girls Night Out," "Rock Star," and a hit TV show on The Disney Channel, Hannah Montana is an icon who appeals to young girls who can relate. Some have compared her success, which has earned her millions of dollars on her 52-city concert schedule, to the New Kids on the Block
