Disabled workers can apply for Medicaid Buy-In
COLUMBUS — Tuesday, April 1, was the first day to apply for the Medicaid Buy-In Program for Workers with Disabilities, which allows workers with disabilities to continue receiving Medicaid health benefits.
Extras
The program permits workers earning up to 250 percent of the federal poverty level — $26,000 for a single person — after certain deductions, to pay a monthly premium and continue Medicaid coverage.
