Teens arrested on suspicion of theft at IKEA

WEST CHESTER TWP. — Two Fairfield teenagers were observed on IKEA security cameras Friday, April 4 pushing items on a cart past a cashier and out of the Swedish mega store without paying for them, West Chester Police reported.
The pair were arrested on suspicion of the theft of a mirror chest valued at $498 and a six-drawer chest valued at $149. Both items were recovered by IKEA's loss prevention. The teens were taken to the West Chester Police Department and later released to parents, according to the police report.
