McDonald's to give out chicken items for free

In order to promote its new Southern-style menu, participating McDonald's restaurants will be giving a free Southern Style Chicken Biscuit or Southern Style Chicken Sandwich to anyone who purchases a medium or large beverage on Thursday, May 15. Biscuits will be given out from 7-10:30 a.m. and sandwiches from after breakfast hours until 7 p.m. while supplies last.
The sampling event is to encourage the idea of having chicken at the breakfast hour, which the company recognizes as a relatively new idea to consumers, according to a press release from McDonald's.
