Police: Suspect listed job as 'drug dealer'

HAMILTON — A suspect who listed his job as "drug dealer" has been arrested on drug charges, according to police.
Cordell Barefield, 22, of Stephens Street, was arrested early Monday, May 19, and charged with weapons under disability, trafficking counterfeit controlled substance, drug abuse and various failure to comply with court orders, according to police records.

Police said Barefield, who listed his occupation as "drug dealer," was in possession of a handgun, a scale and a large amount of small off white rocks that resembled crack, but field tested negative.
Barefield remains held in the Butler County Jail after a hearing was held in Hamilton Municipal Court Monday.
