Orbit bowling lanes near opening

Just in time for summer, the Orbit Fun Center will open its bowling center, which joins the existing roller skating rink at the Columbus Road facility.
Co-owner Mike Penrod said the lanes are set to open within two weeks, and he plans to announce a grand opening date soon. Registrations for summer bowling leagues are already be accepted. For more information, call Orbit at 282-6292.

The skating rink opened in January, but the facility also houses a fully equipped snack bar, an arcade with prizes and a complete skating pro shop. The snack bar features traditional skating rink favorites including hot dogs, popcorn, candy and soda.
