John Glenn to endorse Hillary Clinton
Both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama are expected to begin focusing on Ohio's March 4 primary.

COLUMBUS — When Bill Clinton got discouraged about his chances for winning Ohio in the 1992 presidential campaign, John Glenn told Clinton not to quit.
Clinton didn't, captured Ohio and won the first of two terms in the White House.

Now Glenn, 86, the former astronaut and four-term U.S. senator, is trying to help another Clinton.
Today he is expected to endorse Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, Bill's wife, for the Democratic nomination for president, according to a source close to the Democrats.
The expected endorsement comes as both Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois begin focusing on Ohio's March 4 Democratic primary.
Sen. Clinton will campaign across the state on Thursday and Friday, and her daughter Chelsea Clinton will campaign in Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday, said Isaac Baker, Clinton campaign spokesman.
Obama is expected in the state "soon," Ben LaBolt, Obama campaign spokesman, said in an e-mail.
In other developments:
•Both the Obama and Clinton campaigns are scheduled to begin TV ads in the state today, including in the Dayton area.
•Gov. Ted Strickland, a Clinton backer, on Monday cast his absentee ballot as part of the Clinton campaign's effort to promote early voting.
He said Ohio and Texas, which also holds a March 4 primary, "will be the firewall that makes it possible for Sen. Clinton to win the primary election and to eventually become the president."
"I think it would be very difficult for her to proceed to eventual victory without winning Ohio. I'm not saying that that's not possible, but I think it would make it much more difficult," said Strickland.
Meanwhile, Obama supporters "will be on the phones and walking door to door from now until March 4 encouraging their friends and neighbors to vote – and vote early – for Obama," LaBolt said.
The flurry of activity comes with Obama fresh off weekend victories in Maine, Nebraska, Louisiana and Washington state. He also is considered the favorite in today's contests in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

if you haven’t made up your mind who to vote for yet, you need to see Chris Matthews’ interview with Senator Kirk Watson from Texas last night on MSNBC: Chris asked Senator Watson to name just one of Obama’s legislative accomplishments. The Senator hesitated and his mouth was wide open, on TV — he stuttered and said, “well… he’s offerering hope”…Chris Matthews had to ask 3 or 4 times, “name just 1 of Obama’s legislative accomplishment”, and finally Senator Watson said, “I can’t.

Bobby, you need to watch these videos on YouTube (“Hillary does NOT want you to see these Chronicles”)! Even allowing for conservative bias, they are just so overwhelming. They were made 15 years ago, so there shouldn’t be any built in intent to derail Hillary running for president. Dismissing the videos without seeing them doesn’t help me make up my mind. I am looking at the Clintons in a new light (or darkness, as may be the case) Watch them and then let us know your reactions. Oh Hillary!

Bobbie…your comments…”Ultimately, people have to base their vote on what their family needs. My family needs health care and a better economy. For those reasons, I will support Hillary until the end” That makes no sense since she was the one in charge of getting universal care in the 90’s and failed miserably. She claims that was experience, so I will saw that she failed in that regard.
Obama’s healthcare plan will cover all Americans and not penalize people who do not want coverage.

I Like Obama, He is fresh and new. Not the same old Washington we are use to. Obama has not been corrupted by the same old system and hopefully he will blaze a new trail for the betterment of us all. Hillary is just Bill dressed up like a woman.

Homero…Do not base your vote on You-Tube videos…they van be doctored.
Jim..Bill Clinton will NOT be President; Hillary will. LISTEN to her.
Ultimately, people have to base their vote on what their family needs. My family needs health care and a better economy. For those reasons, I will support Hillary until the end. She has so much more experience working with other Senators and Congress. She represents New York and they are doing well in their economy.

Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for Ohio. We do not need another President who will have to be on the learning curve (ie:Bush). We are in dire straights in this state and the rest of the country is starting to experience what we have seen for the last 4-8 years. Obama is a great speaker and does bring excitement to the party but we need more than a great speaker. At this time we need experience, we need a candiate with an agenda to bring us out of this mess that will be inherited.

I have been planning to vote for Hillary. Then, yesterday, I was looking at YouTube Political videos and ran across this series of 11 videos called “Hillary does NOT want you to see these Chronicles”. It plays like a 60 Minutes expose! Witnesses murdered (or “suicide”), drug smuggling, Don Tyson (of frozen chicken fame), a convicted drug dealer and one of Clinton’s friends, a doctor who treated Bill’s cocaine nose, and on and on. I don’t want to believe what I saw, but there’s so much. Wow

I really beleive in Ohio we look a little deeper at what the long term effects will be on us. With that I firmly beleive that Hillary Clinton has the substance to get healthcare, which my family needs, and help our economy get back some footing. Obama is fine but all talk and I am still waiting to hear something. What a great speaker but we heard this I will unite both parties out of Bush. I support Hillary Clinton for the sake of our country.

I am undecided about who I ultimately will support, but I have ruled out Senator Clinton. Here is a link to an excellent piece of reporting on pardons granted by Bill Clinton during Hillary Clinton’s New York senate campaign. Note the writer’s family relationship given at the end. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120277819085260827.html?mod=opinionmaincommentaries
