Dec. 21

Police responded to an attempted break-in at Ground Masters on Kingsview Avenue.

Coin machines at the Wastub Laundromat on West Main were broken into and the money inside stolen, the third incident reported this week.

Dec. 20

A car hit a telephone pole in the 500 block of West Mulberry and the driver ran away from the accident, only to be caught by police. The driver, a 27-year-old man from the 000-100 block of North West Street, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

A Christmas display was knocked over in the 700 block of McBurney.

A yard was damaged by a truck driving through it at the corner of Hunters Run Road and Tamarack Court.

Christmas decorations were tampered with in the 000-100 block of North High Street.

Dec. 19

A cell phone was stolen from the 700 block of Holbrook.

Dec. 17

A 50-year-old Mason man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Broadway.

Two axles were stolen from the 400 block of East Mulberry.

A Sharp television was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 1000 block of Carson Court.

Dec. 16

A tire was stolen off a car in the 100 block of Dave Avenue.

Gas was stolen from both a shed and car parked in the 700 block of Miller Road.

The Frisch's on Columbus Avenue reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

Nineteen coin machines at the Wastub Laundromat on West Main were broken into and the money inside stolen.

Dec. 15

A 31-year-old Middletown woman was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Columbus Ave.

A black ford truck took $23.43 worth of gas and drove away without paying from the A1 Carryout on Columbus Ave.

A couple from the 200 block of Miller Road reported a man that had been staying with them took their black Ford Ranger without permission and was believed to be heading to Indiana.

The Speedway on Columbus Avenue reported a shoplifter who drove away in a Red Bravado before being caught.
