Feb. 15

A 26-year-old man from the 200 block of Old Ohio 122 was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting an iced tea from the Speedway on Columbus Avenue.

A building in the 200 block of South Broadway was vandalized with graffiti.

Feb. 14

A resin Mickey Mouse statute valued at $50 and a door mat were stolen off the front porch of a home in the 500 block of Little Creek Court.

A purse was stolen out of a shopping cart in Walmart.

Feb. 13

A woman in the 900 block of Ridgeway reported being punched in the head by a neighbor.

A woman in the 400 block of Columbus reported her door had been kicked in. Nothing was reported stolen.

Feb. 12

A building in the 700 block of East Main Street was vandalized with graffiti.

A building in the 300 block of South West Street was vandalized with graffiti.

A woman in the 900 block of Brookside reported that her niece had taken 10 of her Vicodin pills.

Feb. 11

The post at the end of a driveway in the 900 block of Southline was struck and damaged.

Two girls were reported breaking windows out in the alley behind Brant's Hardware Store in the 100 block of South Broadway.

Feb. 10

A Rumpke trash container was stolen from the 000-100 block of South East Street.

A man in the 600 block of Crestview reported returning home to find his front door open. Police investigated, but did not find anything askew.

A concerned citizen reported witnessing a drug transaction between two vehicles in the parking lot in front of Buffalo Wild Wings on Columbus. Police were unable to locate the vehicles.

A woman in the 1100 block of Deerfield reported a theft. She had placed groceries and clothing outside of her door and left to get her keys from her daughter's house. When she returned the groceries and clothing, valued at $200, were gone.

Feb. 9

A 45-year-old man from the 200 block of Miller Road was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property after police were called to investigate a suspicious person sleeping in a car parked in the 000-100 block of West Northwood.

A storage shed in the 500 block of Katherine was spray painted with graffiti and had its windows shot out.
