Police blotter: Caller threatens to kill Walmart manager

Nov. 8

A threatening phone call was reported at 2:50 a.m. by a Walmart store manager. The manager said someone using a voice changer called the store and threatened to kill the him if he hung up the phone.

Nov. 6

Jeffrey A. Hine, 29, of 2867 N. Ohio 48, Lebanon, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m. at 500 N. Broadway.

Nov. 4

A live animal trap was reported stolen from the 600 block of Ridge Avenue at 8:34 a.m.

Buffalo Wings and Rings restaurant on Columbus Avenue reported $900 missing at 9:56 a.m.

A trailer tag SRG9005 was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Navaho at 2:18 p.m. Trailer had been parked on Coyne Street at a rental property

A bicycle was reported stolen near McDonald’s on East Main Street. at 4:43 p.m.

Nov. 3

Andrea M. Stanifer, 21, of Middletown was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at 6:38 a.m. at Cook Road and Ohio 48 in Lebanon.

A car stereo was reported stolen from North Mechanic Street at 1:23 p.m.

A resident of West Silver Street reported at 3:59 p.m. his bank debit card was charged $142 without his permission.

Nov. 2

A purse and an iPod touch were reported stolen from the 400 block of East Mulberry Street at 9:44 a.m.

A purse and matching clutch wallet was reported stolen the previous from North Broadway Street at 3:08 p.m.

A medical complex located at the 800 block of Greengate Avenue reported at 4:08 p.m. that pain medication left for a patient was stolen.

Angela L. West, 28, and William T. West, 24 of Blanchester were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting $160 worth of groceries at 4:43 p.m. at the Walmart store off the Ohio 48 bypass.

A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle by a resident of West Silver Street at 6:49 p.m.
