Hamilton Twp. police are investigating a truck fire they believe to be arson.

A semi-truck parked along U.S. 22 near a viaduct was believed to have been set on fire around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, according to Lt. Jeff Braley of the Hamilton Twp. Police Department.

Braley said a witness saw someone set the truck on fire. Braley said the truck was empty at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.

Hamilton Twp. police are continuing to investigate the arson in conjunction with the State Fire Marshal’s office. No arrests have been made.

This is the second reported arson in Warren County in less than a month’s time. The state fire marshal declared an Oct. 19 house fire at 213-215 Walnut Street in Lebanon was an arson. Three men died in that fire.

It is unknown at this time if the two fires are connected.
