LEBANON — A Cincinnati woman was injured Friday, June 4, when she swerved to avoid a semi-truck along Interstate 71, causing her vehicle to roll across the median.
The accident happened at about 6:45 p.m. Both vehicles were northbound on I-71 at the 36 mile marker near the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge, said Trooper Joshua Patrick of the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post.
The driver of the truck changed lanes, forcing the woman, Lauren Ford, 23, of Cincinnati, to swerve, and her vehicle rolled over into the median into the southbound lanes, Patrick said. The driver of the truck was cited for an unsafe lane change.
Ford was taken to Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
