KingsWay Church will host the South Lebanon Chili Cookoff from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 in the Gymnasium located next to the old South Lebanon Elementary School at 10 S. High Street, South Lebanon.

The gym can be accessed from Section Street. The chili dinner is free and open to the public. The South Lebanon Fire Department will serve as the official judges for the competition.

If I may... I dont go to church but I know some that do and they dont bother anybody. They may not be the most trusworthy people I know but they are still good people. With that said how dare somebody try and ruin an event like this. I think it might be a good time just to get out of the house and perhaps meet some new people and share some time together. Try a bowl of chili have a laugh or two and call it a night. This is what is wrong with this country....everyone is way too self centered.

Everyone has had a bad experience at a restaurant, yet you still go out to eat. Church is no different. you may have had a bad experience with church or Christians but is not fair to say that ALL Christians are bad. I personally know some people that go to KingsWay and that church is amazingly loving and they are genuine. I support their efforts to reach out to our community.

All you ppl that trash things that church ppl try to do for the comunity need to go **** yourselfs and do some more drugs to kill yourself with. To the guy that called south lebanon trash where the hell you live a *** comunity. You all need to go talk to each other in group and just get off on each others rudness and leave those ppl who are trying to do nice things for there comunity alone.
