LEBANON— A boil alert issued for parts of northeast Lebanon has been lifted today, Jan. 5. Residents no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking it.
The boil alert was originally issued as a result of a water main break on Monroe Road, and included the areas along Columbus Avenue, Monroe Road, Summit Street, Ridge Road, Highland Avenue, and adjacent streets.
The water main break occurred on the 10-inch water main under Monroe Road. City crews worked through the night to make the necessary repairs and return water service back to normal early in the morning.
Anyone with questions can contact the water service department at (513) 933-7200.
