New McDonald’s opening next week

After three months of construction, the Lebanon McDonald’s will reopen for regular business at 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 27.

The new restaurant, located at 650 E. Main St. in Lebanon, will feature a new design and more convenient services, according to its owner and operator, Ed Wernet.

“We’ve had a lot of fun putting together this new store that will allow us to connect with our customers through a new look and enhanced services that relate to current trends,” said Wernet. “We couldn’t be more excited to re-open our doors, and we hope Lebanon residents enjoy the new restaurant.”

The previous restaurant was closed on July 19 and demolished to address the need for a new building, drive through and parking configurations.

The 5,200-square-foot building has a contemporary, new shape based on one of McDonald’s newest restaurant design themes, called the “Arcade” design, a traditional architectural element that defines the front of the restaurant and its main entry. The building’s exterior is a natural progression, departing from the standard double mansard roof building which has been a trademark of McDoanld’s buildings since 1968.

A new earth-tone color scheme is featured throughout the restaurant’s interior, plus roomier and more comfortable seating available in a variety of configurations. The restaurant will seat approximately 105 customers in a variety of “zones” ranging from quick bar type high seating to unique bench seating. To enhance the customer experience further, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi service will be available for customer convenience.

A new, remodeled play area for children with the newest playground technology, including pieces that will play music such as a keyboard wall, is another addition to the restaurant.

The restaurant’s new drive through is placed toward the rear of property and will feature a double drive through to facilitate a faster, easier ordering and pick-up experience. Customers may choose any lane, any time.

(Matt) For your information i do not go to any so called fast food restaurants anymore, but do remember when i DID go to them. Why are you people b1tching when its obviously the truth about most fast food places anyways. They should take the word FAST out of their phrase. And you can still go into one of those places and eat healthy if you know what to look for when placing your order...

I am so happy McD's is returning to town. I so missed my double order of hashbrowns, coffee, and egg McMuffin w/cheese and bacon.

If you're eating at McDonalds, its probably better that you get out of your car to walk inside anyways. You probably need the excercise after eating the two bigmacs that they didn't put exta cheese on.

Well you won't have that problem with the new McDonald's since with the new drive you it will only be one order per car.If a customer has more than one order they will have to come in.That will cut down the time of havin to wait so long.A accurate order is awesome but customers also need to remember when placing difficult orders of add this take that off you have to ask that your order be repeated back to you.I work for Mcdonald's I enjoy my job dealing with customers. Btw have a awesome day!
