The first 10 holes at Cassel Hills golf course do absolutely nothing to prepare golfers for what they find at the No. 11 tee. If the hole were along I-75 in Tennessee, it would be marked with a sign saying SCENIC VIEW and there would be a paved area with a guard rail where tourists could pull over to check it out. More than one first-time visitor to Cassel Hills has, no doubt, taken a look and said, "Holy cow!" The 11th is a sharply descending, 380-yard, dogleg left par 4 where those driving the carts must be cautious going down the cart path. You can't see the green from the tee because it is protected by a grove of trees.
